Friluftsmuséet

Part of the Gammlia museum complex, this open-air historic village presents ye olde church, a smokehouse, a windmill, a 17th-century gatehouse and traditional Sami dwellings. Decked out in period costume, staff demonstrate traditional homestead life. Play games from the olden days, meet the sheep and chickens, or else take the kids for a spin in a horse-drawn carriage (daily noon to 2pm).
