Visitors descend in droves for this saintly celebration in May. On the opening day the effigy of St Ephisius, Cagliari’s patron saint, is taken from the Chiesa di Sant'Efisio and paraded through the streets on a bullock-drawn carriage before being carried to Nora, 40km away, and back again. Tickets for the stands (€15 to €35) are sold at Box Office Tickets.
