This small exhibition hall near the entrance to the ruins features photographs of the excavation work begun in 1915 by Iosef Chatzidakis and continued by the French Archaeological School in Athens. It includes scale models of both the palace and Quarter M, which go a long way to helping visitors conceptualise Malia in its heydey.
