Eski Cami

Southeast of the Old City are several historical mosques that have played other roles, including the Old Mosque, a medieval structure that was originally built in the 12th century as a church dedicated to St Paul. The original entrance to the south was converted into a mihrab (niche indicating the direction of Mecca) in the 15th century.
