Doheny State Beach

Adjacent to the southern border of Dana Point Harbor, this mile-long beach is great for swimmers, surfers, surf fishers and tide poolers. You’ll also find picnic tables with grills, volleyball courts and a butterfly exhibit at the 62-acre coastal park. Stop by the park’s visitor center to check out the five aquariums, mounted birds and 500-gallon simulated tide pool. Free wi-fi at the snack bar.
