Customs House

It might be crowded out by skyscrapers these days, but Brisbane's Customs House (1889) continues to cut a very fine figure with its elegant Corinthian columns and copper dome. For almost a century, this was where ships heading into Brisbane’s port were required to pay duties. Its current tenants include the University of Queensland and an elegant restaurant.
