Cathédrale Notre Dame

Montauban’s 18th-century cathedral is a veritable gallery of great religious art, with monumental statues by Marc Arcis (1655–1739), Christ's entombment as a semi-cubist canvas by Marcel-Lenoir (1872–1931), plus one of Ingres' masterpieces, Le Vœu de Louis XIII (1824), depicting the king pledging France to the Virgin.
