This green-domed Franciscan church, built in the late 1800s, stands on the site where Catholics believe Jesus performed the wedding miracle. An ancient jar that may have been among the six used by Jesus when he turned water into wine can be seen in the basement (access is around the side of the church). Under the floor of the nave, through a glass tile, you can see a 4th-century Jewish inscription in Aramaic.
