Founded in 2000, C/O Berlin (co-berlin.org; adult/concession/under 18 €12/6/free) is the capital's most respected private, nonprofit exhibition center for photography and visual media. Founded in 2000, it's based at the iconic Amerika Haus, which served as a US cultural and information center from 1957 until 2006. C/O's roster of highbrow exhibits regularly features the art form's international elite, including Annie Leibovitz, Irving Penn, Nan Goldin and Anton Corbijn.
