This state park is the gem of the area. A green space this size would be impressive anywhere, but is doubly so considering how close it is to prodigious urban development. Nature trails and shallow streams wend through the park. Come here to watch the annual hawk migrations, flying north in the spring (March to May) and south in the fall (September to November).
