Run by enthusiasts, this steam railway – the only "standard gauge" line of its type left in Cornwall – chuffs and clatters for 6.5 miles between Bodmin and Boscarne Junction. Many trains are still decked out in original 1950s livery. At the Boscarne end, the line links up with the Camel Trail; bikes can be taken on the trains if there's space.
Look out for special trips in summer, including Pullman-style dining trains with a silver-service supper, plus murder-mystery and pub-quiz trains.
