Basilique St-Sauveur

The west façade of this basilica has a remarkable Romanesque portal from the 12th century while the interior combines both the Romanesque and Flamboyant Gothic styles. The church contains a 14th-century cenotaph in its north transept reputed to contain the heart of Bertrand du Guesclin (1320-80), who fought many fierce battles to expel the English.
