Aqueduc de Roquefavour

The arches of the three-tiered Aqueduc de Roquefavour reach 83m in height, making it the world’s largest stone aqueduct. Three hundred and seventy-five metres long, it was first planned in the 16th century to transport water from the River Durance to Marseille, but not built until 1847. To reach it take the D64 13km west of Aix.
