This five-minute cable car ride takes you from Batıpark (West Park) near the Black Sea shore, 5km northwest of centre, to the cafe and twin tumuli on Amisos Hill.
Midweek the cablecar is generally quiet but each run carries only 24 people so on peak holiday weekends there can be half-hour queues. Assuming that you don't have a SamKart, you'll need to purchase a 2 Binişlik Kart (₺3) before boarding. The vending machines' English language function wasn't working at the time of research so you might need a little local help.
