Acadian Village

At the understated, educational Acadian Village, you follow a brick path around a rippling bayou to restored houses, craftsman barns and a church. Old-timers sometimes still hang out here, regaling visitors with Cajun songs and stories from days gone by. The village becomes a Christmas light extravaganza in December, when it is open every evening, weather permitting.
