Abdinghofkirche

The Abdinghofkirche is easily recognised by its twin towers. The foundation stone was laid in the 11th century as part of a Benedictine monastery in business until its secularisation in 1803; it became a Protestant church in 1866. Its interior exudes serene austerity with its whitewashed and unadorned arches and flat wooden ceiling.
