Great Synagogue

Plzeň


The Great Synagogue, west of the Old Town, is one of the largest in the world. It was built in the Moorish style in 1892 by the 2000 Jews who lived in Plzeň. At the time of research, the synagogue was closed for renovation and not expected to reopen before 2022.
