About Sonya
I’m an Australian travel journalist who’s split my adult life between Osaka, London, Sydney and Brisbane (while travelling as much as possible, from Mauritius to Madrid). You’ll find me in constant pursuit of great food, drinks, and stories to share. I have a tendency to plan my itinerary around meals, I’m easily distracted by striking architecture and artworks, I love to spend time in or by the sea, and am as happy sleeping on the ground in a tent as I am in a luxury hotel room. I’m also the mother of two small children who I love to take on adventures.
