About the author
With Dutch and Australian roots and an early childhood spent in Sri Lanka and Malaysia, the thrill of traveling and exploring new cultures has been in my blood since I took my first steps. After growing up and schooling in Australia, Southeast Asia became my playground for the past 15 years – five years in the Philippines and ten in Singapore – and I’ve never grown tired of uncovering its vibrant contrasts. However lately, I’ve fallen head over heels for Europe, especially during the festive Christmas season, when each city feels like a scene from a storybook come to life!
