Throughout my life, I've woofed in the Northwest Territories, sold phones in New Zealand, waited tables on Mackinac Island, and taught English in Shanghai, among many other adventures. But I also think travel can be special even if it's a day trip just 20 miles outside of your hometown. If you're learning, growing, and opening yourself to new experiences...it doesn't matter where you are, you're traveling.
