About Jennifer
I'm a Seoul-based freelance editor and writer covering travel, life in Korea and one of my many passions: wine. After spending nearly two decades in the U.S., the transcontinental move to Korea was definitely
not in my books. But life is never predictable. My love affair with globe-trotting started here, which eventually led to a hunger for discovering the country where I was born. I visited parts of Korea not in guide books, met Intangible Cultural Heritages, visited nearly 20 islands, camped on an uninhabited island and went on a summer road trip visiting Korean winemakers all over the country (yes, there’s a burgeoning wine industry here).
Such incredible experiences unfolded in a journey of self-discovery and a series of career twists: tour designer, writer and contributor of several radio shows at TBS eFM, a foreign-language radio station under the Seoul-based television and radio network, and most recently English Section Editor of MorningCalm, Korean Air's in-flight magazine. My writings have been published by MorningCalm, Koreana, Seoul Selection and Asia's 50 Best Restaurants among others.
