About Jane
Jane Foster is a freelance travel writer based in Split on the Dalmatian coast, where she has lived from 1998 to 2003 and from 2011 to the present. She has written several guidebooks to Croatia and contributes to various newspapers and magazines, including Conde Nast Traveller (UK), Baltic Outlook (airBaltic in-flight magazine) and Scandanavian Traveller (SAS in-flight magazine).
She also writes about Greece (she lived in Athens 2003-2011) and Montenegro. She has a BA degree in architecture, and enjoys exploring unusual buildings and artworks, hiking to hidden beaches, sailing and drinking red wine. Despite what people say, she is not always on holiday.
