About Carrie Ann
I left the States in 2015 and never looked back. Since then, I’ve been circling the globe, living out of a suitcase and traveling nonstop, staying long enough to truly experience each country within its visa limits. I’m a wanderlust-fueled, food-obsessed hodophile chasing adventure in places I’ve never heard of. I’m a proud member of the Cherokee Nation, drawn to ethical experiences and Indigenous cultures worldwide. I keep returning to Southeast Asia—the only place that’s ever felt like home after 70+ countries—and I miss the good ol’ days of traveling with dog-eared guidebooks, sans smartphones, and guided by hand-drawn maps and getting lost.
