In the block behind the courthouse, this multifloor county museum has flowering gardens, as well as hundreds of historical photos and relics from the county’s pioneer and Maidu days, its early mining and timber industries, and construction of the Western Pacific Railroad. For the price, it's definitely worth the stop.
