Cant Ranch House

Northeastern Oregon

The Cant Ranch House is near the paleontology center. Once upon a time a mail-order house built by a Scottish immigrant family, it offers a peek into settlers' early lives – it was something of a hub for the community in the 1910s until the mid-1920s. There are picnic grounds and a riverside trail that are lovely to visit even if the house is closed.
