Even many Angelenos have no idea that just a couple of blocks from the Boardwalk madness is an idyllic neighborhood that preserves 3 miles of Abbot Kinney’s canals. The Venice Canal Walk threads past eclectic homes, over arching bridges and along waterways where ducks preen, artists paint and locals lollygag in little rowboats or sip cocktails on little barges moored in front of their cute homes. It’s best accessed from either Venice or Washington Blvds.
