Grant Wood Studio

Iowa

Visit Grant Wood's downtown studio where he worked from 1924 to 1935. In this 2nd-floor space above a carriage house for the neighboring Douglas Mansion he created some of his most famous works, including American Gothic. It's run by the nearby Cedar Rapids Museum of Art (410 3rd Ave SE), which has more than 200 works by Wood.
