Greenwich Point Park

Connecticut

Greenwich Point Park's lush acres are lined with walking trails which sweep across the promontory leading to quiet beaches, from where, on a clear day, you can see the New York skyline. Passes (which must be displayed from May to October) are available to buy at the Greenwich Town Hall, so buy in town before you drive out here. Gate staff can be persnickety, to use one adjective.
