Lehigh Gorge State Park

Pennsylvania

The Lehigh River cuts a steep, dramatically arresting gorge through the uplands of Northeast Pennsylvania. The main attraction is the 20-mile Lehigh Gorge Trail, which follows the river and an old railway cut. If you want a real challenge – with a beautiful payoff – attempt the steep climbs and rocky scrambles on the 3-mile Glen Onoko Falls Trail.
