This educational facility includes a nature discovery center specifically aimed at kids. If you've got children in tow, it's a nice detour. The Kettle Creek Center itself hosts various lectures and talks aimed at raising environmental awareness in the area. The center is sometimes closed on Saturdays for group events; call ahead before you visit.
