Created for the 300th Diada Nacional de Catalunya (2014), Barcelona photographer Joan Fontcuberta's evocative mural depicts a kiss between two people. Up close, however, it's composed of thousands of individual freedom-themed photos, which were sent in by readers of El Periódico newspaper and transferred on to tiny mosaics.
