3 Days 2 Nights Garden Route Tour in 3 Star Hotel

The following itinerary is what guests can expect on this 3 days/2 nights Garden route tour 3-star:Day1Collection from Guest's hotel/guest house by a qualified tour guide/driver in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. We travel on the N2 through Elgin and pass through small towns like Caledon, Riviersonderend and Riversdale. We stop in Albertinia at the Aloe Vera factory (20 minutes) for coffee and a bit of shopping. From there we proceed to Zorgfontein to Walk with the lions (1 hour). This will be followed by a stop in Mossel Bay. At approximately 15:00 we travel to Botlierskop Game Farm for a 3-hour game drive in an open 4×4 truck. This is a unique occasion to fully experience the Big 5. After the game drive we set off for Knysna, passing through the scenic towns of George, Wilderness and Sedgefield. After check-in at accommodation and freshening up, guests will be taken for dinner. Thereafter, guests will be dropped off at their hotel/guest house. Day 2Collection from Guest's hotel/guest house after check-out and breakfast. We explore the Knysna Heads, drive to the top of one of the heads and down to the beach. We stop at Garden of Eden for a guided walking tour for approximately 15 minutes. Thereafter we dedicate an hour to admire the largest bird sanctuary in southern hemisphere, Birds of Eden and also visit Monkey land sanctuary. From there, guests will have an opportunity to interact with the elephants. Our next stop is at the Storms River mouth where lunch will be served. After lunch we embark on a guided walking tour of about 900 meters to the Hanging bridge. We depart from there at approximately 15:00 and travel back to Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich capital. We overnight at De Poort Country lodge at the foot of the Swartberg mountain where dinner will be served. Estimated time of arrival at accommodation – approximately 18:30/19:00. Day 3Collection from Guest's hotel/guest house after check-out and breakfast. Our first stop is at the Safari Ostrich farm to interact with the Ostriches. Our next attraction will be the Cango wildlife Ranch for a wildlife encounter. Thereafter we visit the Cango caves for a standard tour. After the tour, lunch will be served at one of the Restaurants as per our itinerary. From there we depart for Cape town via route 62 with optional stops. Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation in Cape town. Should guests prefer to be dropped off in Port Elizabeth instead, this can be arranged.Vehicles include free cold bottled water, complimentary Wi-Fi and snacks.Drinks and Gratuities are excluded in the cost unless otherwise informed. ASIA TO AFRICA: Explore Cape Town & Garden Route - 6 Days

 DAY 1:  Arrival at Cape Town International Airport. After a Hotel transfer and check-in, guests are taken to the V&A Waterfront. Here you may enjoy some optional activities such as: Robben Island tour; Table Mountain; boat cruises & Two Oceans Aquarium. Free for Asian  Dinner at the Waterfront. Guests are then dropped off at their hotel after dinner. DAY  2  (B L): After breakfast join the tour of the Cape of Good Hope.  A visit to Cape Point will reward you with the opportunity to witness the meeting of the mighty Atlantic & Indian Oceans. The first stop is Cape Point where guests can take a short hike to the Cape of Good Hope. The Penguin Colony at Sea-forth always proves to be a lot of fun. For lunch, fish & chips and salad will be served next to the ocean. The return journey takes you along the scenic Chapmans Peak Pass and Hout Bay.We go on a boat cruise to Seal Island to get up close to hundreds of Cape Fur Seals. The evening is free for you to Explore the Waterfront. In the evening guests are taken to a traditional Cape Malay or similar Eastern Restaurant.Day 3   (B L D): After breakfast we head to the Cape Winelands. DAY 1 (L D)    Leave Cape Town at 09h00 and travel to the Cape's famed Winelands. We visit some of the area's most elegant wine estates,  tasting their superb Vegetarian and Vegan Wines. Stop for lunch at the Greenhouse Restaurant situated on the Babylonstoren  Wine Estate. All food is served picnic-style in wooden crates with the preserves, jams and salads packaged in weck jars, while fresh bread is baked from our old wood-fired oven.Overnight in The Breede River Valley a region, famous for its fruit and wine farms.  Enjoy a traditional South African Dinner.DAY 2  (B L)   Head through the unique and scenically spectacular Klein Karoo Route 62 to arrive in Oudtshoorn, the "ostrich capital" of the world. Enjoy a wine tasting and cheese platter at a wine estate on Route 62. Experience a visit to a fascinating Ostrich Show Farm.   Overnight in Oudtshoorn. DAY 3  (B L)   We proceed to one of Africa's great wonders - the subterranean wonderland of the Cango Caves.   Lunch is enjoyed along with a tasting of Klein Karoo Wines or Juices. Crossing the magnificent Outeniqua Mountains, we descend into the Garden Route. Our first Stop is the Wilderness where we stop for optional Craft Beer and Gin Tasting. (Juice and non-alcoholic beer available) Arriving in Knysna, we begin to explore this charming village with its myriad attractions for visitors. Overnight Knysna. DAY 4  (B L)  Today you will explore the Tsitsikamma region. Plettenberg Bay is a spectacular setting for you to spend time in its environs. We will do some whale and dolphin spotting. Lunch will be enjoyed at Bocca Dolce Restaurant. This quaint vegetarian/vegan café is on the farm Quarry Lake, where owners Lello and Lisa Incendiario grow and sell their own organic vegetables, microgreens, and wheatgrass.The coastal road we follow wends it's way along steep river gorges, over spectacular mountain passes and through dense indigenous forests and ferns. We visit the tiny settlement of Nature's Valley, one of the loveliest havens of tranquility along the Garden Route. An optional tour of  Monkeyland or the Birds of Eden or the Knysna Elephant Park is available before departing back to Knysna.  Optional sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon.DAY 5  (B)   We head down to Mossel Bay. Enjoy a boat ride out to Seal Island to view seals, whales and sometimes the Great White Shark.
