4 Day Garden Route and Karoo Tour

Day 1 - Cape Town | Hermanus | Victoria Bay (Friday) • Coffee and breakfast stop at the No.1 Farm Stall in South Africa. A host of delicacies and refreshments are available and created from strictly local produce. • Our journey then takes us north to one of the country's most sought after Game Reserve's where you'll be taken on a 2 hour safari drive. The Big 5 await! Enjoy a cocktail on the viewing deck after as you look over the vast open bush. You'll love this location! • We'll then head to a secret sunset spot close to Herold's Bay for some snacks and sundowners overlooking the ocean • Our overnight accommodation is in the quirky seaside town of Wilderness or Herolds BayDay 2 - Sedgefield | Knysna | Plettenberg Bay (Saturday) • First up is a visit to the 'Map of Africa' Viewing Point • We then head to the Knysna Heads. A short walk to the viewing cliffs allows us to take some of the best photos of this entire trip, a firm favorite for locals and visitors alike! • The Knysna Elephant Park is our midday stop. A chance to walk with Elephants, feed them and interact with them. This is an experience like no other and one that will certainly create some of your best memories in SA. • Enrico's on the beach awaits! A late lunch/early evening dinner experience with a view of the Keurbooms lagoon. • Overnight in comfortable rooms in Plettenberg Bay or KeurboomsDay 3 - Cruising on Route 62 (Sunday) • A day on the roads of the central Karoo starts with a drive through the historic Montagu Pass built over 100 years ago (this is especially fun in our 4X4 vehicle). • We'll then visit the quaint town of Barrydale, full of interesting little shops and points of interest. • A slow sunset cruise on the Breede River. We'll toast to an eventful day on the road with a glass (or a few) of local sparkling wine on board an elegant flat-bottomed river boat. • Overnight in cottage style accommodation in the mountains of Robertson.Day 4 - Robertson Wine Valley | 3 Farms | 3 Different Tasting Experiences (Monday) • A family owned wine farm for a chocolate and wine pairing that'll get your taste buds excited for the rest of the day. • An MCC tasting is up next at South Africa's most loved MCC farm. 4 different tastings of pure liquid gold in a setting that's fit for a Queen and her King! • Our final tasting of the day is at a privately owned secret beer brewery in the mountains of Robertson where you'll be treated to a tour of the beer making process.

3 Days 2 Nights Garden Route Tour in 3 Star Hotel

The following itinerary is what guests can expect on this 3 days/2 nights Garden route tour 3-star:Day1Collection from Guest's hotel/guest house by a qualified tour guide/driver in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. We travel on the N2 through Elgin and pass through small towns like Caledon, Riviersonderend and Riversdale. We stop in Albertinia at the Aloe Vera factory (20 minutes) for coffee and a bit of shopping. From there we proceed to Zorgfontein to Walk with the lions (1 hour). This will be followed by a stop in Mossel Bay. At approximately 15:00 we travel to Botlierskop Game Farm for a 3-hour game drive in an open 4×4 truck. This is a unique occasion to fully experience the Big 5. After the game drive we set off for Knysna, passing through the scenic towns of George, Wilderness and Sedgefield. After check-in at accommodation and freshening up, guests will be taken for dinner. Thereafter, guests will be dropped off at their hotel/guest house.Day 2Collection from Guest's hotel/guest house after check-out and breakfast. We explore the Knysna Heads, drive to the top of one of the heads and down to the beach. We stop at Garden of Eden for a guided walking tour for approximately 15 minutes. Thereafter we dedicate an hour to admire the largest bird sanctuary in southern hemisphere, Birds of Eden and also visit Monkey land sanctuary. From there, guests will have an opportunity to interact with the elephants. Our next stop is at the Storms River mouth where lunch will be served. After lunch we embark on a guided walking tour of about 900 meters to the Hanging bridge. We depart from there at approximately 15:00 and travel back to Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich capital. We overnight at De Poort Country lodge at the foot of the Swartberg mountain where dinner will be served. Estimated time of arrival at accommodation – approximately 18:30/19:00.Day 3Collection from Guest's hotel/guest house after check-out and breakfast. Our first stop is at the Safari Ostrich farm to interact with the Ostriches. Our next attraction will be the Cango wildlife Ranch for a wildlife encounter. Thereafter we visit the Cango caves for a standard tour. After the tour, lunch will be served at one of the Restaurants as per our itinerary. From there we depart for Cape town via route 62 with optional stops. Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation in Cape town. Our journey continues along the R62. • Arriving in Oudtshoorn at 11:30am we stop at the Cango Caves for an Adventure tour of these age old caves. • We travel to Buffelsdrift Private Game Reserve for lunch (own account) and a safari game drive. The wide range of animals include Hippo, Elephant, Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Rhino, Springbok and more. The duration of safaris is ± 2 hours. • Late afternoon we check in at our accommodation. • Welcome Dinner at Ilita Lodge will be a traditional South African Braai (BBQ) including food and one local beer or glass of red/white wine. A cash bar is available. DAY 2: • Today we depart at 9:00am after breakfast at our accommodation. • Take to the sky on a helicopter tour for approximately 8 minutes. • Thereafter, choose between a Shark Cage Diving boat trip (weather permitting); Adventure Horse Safari; Sky Diving or Walk with the Lions encounter.
