Zarzma

From Khulo, the journey moves from scenic to spectacular as the dirt road rises into the mountains, eventually crossing the 2025m-high 7 Goderdzi Pass (snowbound from about November to March) to 8 Zarzma in Samtskhe-Javakheti, from where it's just another 30km on a mercifully paved road to 9 Akhaltsikhe.
