With one of the most dramatic settings in Bermuda, this crescent-shaped fort on top of a hill overlooks West Whale Bay and much of the south coast. Built in the mid-1700s, the fort provided cover for boats bound for the Dockyard via the Hogfish Cut. It's largely intact and you can poke around its mighty walls and subterranean magazine rooms.
