Waterfront

Kapit’s waterfront is lined with ferries, barges, longboats and floating docks, all swarming with people. Porters carry impossibly heavy or unwieldy loads – you may witness 15 egg crates stacked in a swaying pile – up the steep steps and ramps as boats are unloaded.
