Vihara Dharmayana Temple

Dating from 1876, this colorful Buddhist temple is possibly the most calming place in Kuta. A bright red-and-yellow entrance gate opens into the main courtyard, where the baktisala (main prayer hall) is strung with large Chinese lanterns and supported by giant crimson pillars wrapped with menacing dragons. Incense swirls around the moodily lit interior.
