On a mostly deserted block on the border of Bushwick, Brooklyn and Ridgewood, Queens sits the oldest Dutch colonial stone house in New York City. The grounds and exterior are immaculately kept while the inside of the house features a permanent exhibit on the history of the house and NYC's history. Guided tours are given on Saturdays and Sundays for a suggested donation and there are special events year-round.
