Emerging local artists show works at UICA. You might see sculptures made from glitter-dipped fried chicken, or photos of vacant lots. Exhibitions change every three months or so. Though galleries spread over four floors in the modern, airy building, it doesn't take long to view the whole shebang. The cinema in the basement screens avant-garde art films and documentaries.
