The Corner Store

This communal space consolidates five of the city’s best artisan shops under one roof, inviting visitors into something of an interconnected maze of individual design shops. Here you’ll find Siafu, a Kenyan textile company; Dear Rae, which handcrafts and sells Cape Town-made jewelry; House and Leisure by Lookbook; and the Joinery, which creates bags and other goods from recycled materials. If you shop up an appetite, you can also pause for a cardamom bun at Lion’s Bread, The Corner Store’s resident bakery.
