Some attractive historic Western architecture populates this park near city hall, most notably the French Renaissance–style Kihinkan, dating from 1910 and including a cafe. A couple of blocks north, the copper-turreted Akarenga Bunka-kan was built in 1909 by the same architect who designed Tokyo Station, and now hosts simple historical exhibits.
