Taichung Broadcasting Bureau

Not far from Taichung Park is this leafy complex with a quaint western-style building, a small lily pond and some lovely trees. The bureau was built in the 1930s so the Japanese in Taichung could watch a live broadcast of the coronation of Emperor Hirohito. There are mildly interesting exhibitions in the building.

Just across the road from the entrance is Taichung Baseball Field.
