Superstition Mountain Museum

Exhibits at this worthwhile local museum examine the geology and native cultures of the Superstition Mountain area, plus the legend of the Lost Dutchman's Mine – a lucrative seam of gold ore discovered and lost multiple times, and fruitlessly sought ever since. Other attractions include buildings salvaged from the Apacheland Movie Ranch and re-creations of archetypal Wild West scenes.
