Bottling up a clutch of quality beers since '89, including its flagship Gisborne Gold lager, Gisborne’s pioneering craft brewery has a fab tasting room near Waikanae Beach. Quaff a few on the deck out the front, or peer through the windows to the big stainless-steel vats bubbling away out the back. Twenty-plus taps mean there's something for most tastes.
