All hail Lord Snort, Sonoma artist Bryan Tedrick's recycled-metal boar sculpture, which survived its 2016 Burning Man debut before arriving at Soda Rock – where it faced more trials by fire. Soda Rock's 1869 stone tasting room collapsed in the 2019 Kincade Fire – but Lord Snort survived, his triumphant grin a symbol of Sonoma's resurgence. Soda Rock's redwood bar was dragged from tasting-room ruins and set up in the singed barn, where tastings of big-hearted zinfandel, primitivo, merlot and cab will make you glad to be alive.
Tasting fee is waived with purchase (bottles $26 to $60).
