Seongan-gil Fashion Street

You can really see how locals let their hair down in three distinct pockets of Cheongju. Follow the on-trend crowd by skipping the fast fashion of pedestrianised Seongan-gil Fashion Street (technically on Jungang-ro) and wandering west through a cool emerging enclave in the backstreets of Wondosim (Old Downtown). Each night, cool young things (and arty older locals) get dressed up to gather in dozens of laneway bistros, hidden cafes and casual cocktail bars within renovated industrial spaces.
