Sallan Silver Jubilee Park

This park neighbours Sohar’s glorious beach with its glossy, smooth strands of sand that runs without interruption into the distance. Look under the hedges of this park, which extends along the extensive Wadi Sallan, a khor (inlet) that is often dry, for the mighty minotaur, the largest beetle in Arabia.
