Salinas Grandes

The Salinas Grandes are dazzling salt flats, which span the boundary of Salta and Jujuy provinces. They are best reached from the Quebrada de Humahuaca via the RN 52, which passes through Purmamarca. Touts near Purmamarca's main square offer tours in shared minibuses, leaving late morning.
