Robbie’s covers all the bases – it's a local flea market, tacky tourist shop, sea pen for tarpons (massive fish), waterfront restaurant and jumping-off point for fishing expeditions, all wrapped into one driftwood-laced compound. Boat rental and tours are also available. You can quickly escape the mayhem by hiring a kayak for a peaceful paddle through nearby mangroves, hammocks and lagoons.
You can also book a snorkeling trip ($36), which takes you out on a very smooth-riding Happy Cat vessel for a chance to bob amid coral reefs. If you don’t want to get on the water, you can feed the freakishly large tarpons from the dock ($4 per bucket, $2.25 to watch).
