Relics Trail

A favourite short loop is a combination of the green (easy) Axehead, Relics and Sawtooth trails, climbing through a tight (but simple) set of switchbacks known as Twisties and passing Tasty Trout Falls. Shuttle runs close to town include Black Stump, from where you can access flowing downhill runs such as Flickity Sticks Upper (and the connecting Flickity Sticks) and Return to Sender (both blue, or intermediate). For the more skilled and airborne, the black (difficult) Air-Ya-Garn branches off Return to Sender for a faster, jump-filled return to Derby. Further afield, standout trails include Blue Tier and Atlas (both blue).
