Genteel 15th-century Queens' College sits elegantly astride the river; the two halves of the college are connected by the precarious-looking Mathematical Bridge, best viewed from the Backs. Highlights include two elegant medieval courtyards and the beautiful half-timbered President's Lodge. Dutch scholar and reformer Desiderius Erasmus, whose name was later taken for the European student exchange program, studied here from 1510 to 1514. Contact the college for current hours and entry fees.
